Legacy Children’s home is a home for vulnerable Girl children in SA and is operated as part of the Women Empowerment Platform (DSD Registration No. 254-421). The House focuses on giving neglected and abused girls a safe haven where they can grow and reach their true potential.

About Us

Situated in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg and services surrounding areas.

Our mission is to ensure the girls in our care flourish and that all their physical, emotional and educational needs after met.

Our Registered Children Youth Care registration certificate allows the home to safeguard up to 40 children from 0 – 6 years old. We take full ownership of their physical, emotional and educational needs.

OurFacilities

At Legacy Children’s home, we focus on providing a homely environment. Our kids have access to well sized, clean bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms, a full dining room where all meals are served, TV rooms, a full Garden with playground and pool and an on site therapist office where every girl gets personalised one-on-one care from our qualified social workers.

OurTeam

Our CEO Natalie Solomons leads a passionate and dedicated team of staff and volunteers. She is assisted by NLP practitioner and professional life coach Nadia Marillier.

The team also includes permanent house mothers, cleaning and maintenance teams, a permanent chef to ensure our girls are well fed and nourished, qualified social workers and a team of volunteers. The team works tirelessly to ensure every girl placed in our care will always feel loved and safe.
